Our School Goals

Our School Goals align with the district strategic plan:

 

Goal 2- Whole Child: Thriving, Confident, Responsible Individuals 

Pride Points 

• Equity Team meets weekly to explore issues of social justice, privilege, language, gender, and racism and how they impact our scholars. Our goal is to become antiracist educators. 

• Attendance Team meets bi-weekly to implement interventions to increase scholar attendance. 

• ​​PBIS/RP work is aligned to support growth in scholar social emotional wellbeing. The main goal is to eliminate disciplinary gaps based on race and program.​ 

Area of Focus 

• ​​All scholars will have 90% regular attendance. Focus on minimizing or eliminating attendance gaps, increasing scholar voice, and increasing scholar recognition for meeting goals. ​

Goal 4- Content-Area Competence: Mastery of All Subjects​ 

Pride Points 

• School-wide common commitments and focused instructional indicators have been developed to support an increase in the number of scholars on grade level in both math and ELA 

• MYP/AVID Programming supports rigorous learning opportunities and preparation for high school IB. We strive to foster a climate that develops learners and leaders who are compassionate and prepared to participate respectfully with an understanding and acceptance of diversity in a Multicultural and International community.  

Area of Focus 

• ​​Increasing student talk and quality of questioning with a focus on elevated levels of classroom discourse. ​
