Kilo Middle School, home of the Cougars, is located in Auburn’s Lakeland North neighborhood and serves scholars in grades 6-8. Our mission is that in an environment of high expectations, high support, and no excuses, the staff of Kilo Middle School will continually learn, lead, utilize data, and collaborate to ensure our scholars have a voice, a dream, and a bright future. Scholars also benefit from an array of school activities and clubs to enhance their learning.
Between October 9-27, 2023, students in grades 6, 8, 10, and 12 across Washington state will take the Healthy Youth Survey. Scholars in Federal Way Public Schools will take the survey at their school site.
September 15 marks the start of National Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month, a time our district and schools recognize the contributions, achievements, histories, and celebrate the many diverse cultures of people of Hispanic or Latinx ancestry who come from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
